There is no better way to take in the beauty of <a href=\"http:\/\/welkinweir.org\/\">Welkinweir<\/a>\u00a0than by capturing it in a photograph. Walk the gardens surrounding the estate house, through grassy meadows to a woodland habitat. It does not matter if you have a point-and-shoot camera or a high-end DSLR, bring it, as this week in May Azalea Lane is in full bloom. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a second pair of dry socks in case the grass is wet with morning dew. We will meet in the pavilion parking lot at 8 AM and then gather to have lunch and review our photos.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.migrate.edwardbacon.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/042212_1408_PhotoWalkat1.jpg?w=1170\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One of Welkinweir&#8217;s events celebrating <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalpublicgardensday.org\/\">National Public Gardens Day<\/a>, the Photo Walk in part helps promote environmental stewardship, plant and water conservation.<\/p>\n<p>Admission to Welkinweir for this event is free; donations are welcome.
