The home of Frederic Church overlooks the Hudson River and offers some very spectacular views. I did not leave myself enough time to explore the grounds and attempts to sneak up on the porch were thwarted by the seemingly continuous house tours. Happily a Hudson Valley artist, Geoffry Leckie, had setup his easel and had agreed to let me include him in my photos.
