As we scurried from the water taxi landing toward Burano’s main canal, we cut through a small court yard. I suggested we stop and shoot the flower box. Nah, we have only been here five minutes, we can come back. No, now I insisted. It turned out that we spent a great deal of time in that little square, as a step to the left or one to the right presented wholly new compositions and color combinations. The rest of the day continued that way, photo opportunities every few feet on Burano, what fun! And what a challenge to work the colors and lines, the reflections, the people, oh and the hanging laundry.<\/p>\n
