The reward for the&nbsp;rather long drive from Venice came as beautiful light on Pale di San Martino. The next morning we woke to 5 inches of snow; a perfect topping on the peaks set against blue skies and yellow larches. We&nbsp;shared lots&nbsp;of laughs and a few tastes of grappe to make a very memorable excursion. Known for its lace and brightly painted buildings, Burano&nbsp;like Venice is a series of islands, canals and bridges. For a bunch of \u201cgrand landscape shooters\u201d, we had a blast capturing the colors of Burano.
