I owe my complete gratitude to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.michaelblanchette.com\" target=\"_blank\">Michael Blanchette<\/a> who was behind most of this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In March a group of us spent two weeks on the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.edwardbacon.com\/blog\/2023\/04\/lofoten-norway-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lofoten<\/a> archipelago. Yeh, the adage &#8220;the worst weather makes the best photos&#8221; does not necessarily apply. The Lofoten crew re-assembled for a few days of ad hoc shooting on <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.edwardbacon.com\/blog\/2023\/06\/cape-cod-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cape Cod<\/a> in June. In between I visited France, touring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edwardbacon.com\/blog\/2023\/04\/brittany-and-normandy-march-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Brittany and Normandy<\/a>. And finally with planning that pre-dates the COVID era, we got the &#8220;original band together&#8221; for our tour of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.edwardbacon.com\/blog\/2023\/10\/new-england-fall-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> New England<\/a> in the fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am blessed to live here, and so include images from Peeper Pond, Nantmeal surroundings and events at Ludwig&#8217;s Corner Horse Show Grounds. Some of the year I spent exploring techniques to create derivative images.
