I started out just fine in the spring, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edwardbacon.com\/blog\/2020\/08\/peeper-pond-spring-2020\/https:\/\/www.edwardbacon.com\/blog\/2020\/08\/peeper-pond-spring-2020\/\">documenting our magnolia<\/a>, but  seemed to abandon doing anything related to photography. So when <a href=\"http:\/\/www.michaelblanchette.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Michael Blanchette<\/a> suggested we meet in Ricketts Glen at the peak of Pennsylvania fall color, I happily agreed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Glens Natural Area features the <a href=\"http:\/\/elibrary.dcnr.pa.gov\/GetDocument?docId=1753204&amp;DocName=RICK_GlensMap.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Falls Trail System<\/a>, a moderately difficult hike along cascading waterfalls through rock-strewn ledges and old growth forests. The park is very popular, so we visited on a Thursday and Friday to avoid crowds. Friday presented perfect weather for photographing waterfalls, overcast and a bit of rain.
