I store almost all my gear in a Pelican\u00a01510 case<\/a> that can be carried on to most airlines.     I mostly use my Really Right Stuff<\/a>\u00a0carbon fiber tripod (TVC-33) with their BH-55 ball head, though recently added a 3 Legged Thing Eric<\/a> and the BH-40 as my travel tripod and ball head.<\/p>\n

    Recently I re-organized my Pelican case, incorporating dividers from TrekPak<\/a>. This gave may a little more room to add things in the case, though not enough to get both the 100-400 and 70-200 lenses.<\/p>\n
