Senja and Tromso Norway

In January we traveled 350 km above the Arctic Circle to Tromso, Norway. Planning on many long nights of photographing the Aurora Borealis (the sun did not cross the horizon until our third day there). But heavy clouds, snow and rain limited us to a single night with a rather weak aurora. Senja’s snow covered mountains and fjords offered beautiful scenery, which along with the great company made the trip a success.
