In January, I took a trip to the Algarve region of Portugal and Lisbon. California experienced particularly good spring weather which yielded a spectacular super bloom, to coincide with our tour of the eastern Sierras. In June, we visited Donegal Ireland and Northern Ireland. The summer wrapped up with the annual Citadel Country Spirit Music Festival and our Labor Day Weekend Horse Show. My final venture for 2019 was to a family wedding in Verona, Italy.
