Iceland: Aurora Borealis

I have returned from a photo trip to Iceland in mid March. Keeping with the theme of auroras and ice caves we went out most nights to capture the Aurora Borealis. The shuttle to the airport at the end of the trip confirmed that we picked the right time to be in Iceland for the aurora, as most on the bus were attending a geophysics symposium on The Fundamental Properties and Processes of Magneto-tails.

This collection comes from three locations and includes some dabbling in long exposures and light painting.
